Although we now have a Guest Editor, to whom we are very grateful, the Westcombe News is in need of a editor to take on the job for the Christmas edition and for 2023.

The paper is published 10 times a year and seeks an Editor to work within a team to plan, revise, and coordinate material for publication together with input from the Westcombe Society. The editor would also assist with the layout of the paper and liaise from time to time with the printer.

Journalistic experience would be useful but is not essential as assistance by a previous editor is available and training will be given on our easy -to -use publishing tool (Quark).

The computer needed can be provided. This is a voluntary position but necessary expenses can be paid.

This could also work as a job share if an interested candidate is not available for all issues.
