You can imagine that as we are involved in so many activities we are always on the lookout for new volunteers.  Nothing is too onerous. We are a friendly group and do have fun whilst helping.

So….if you have a few hours to spare, and have an interest in your community, there are many ways in which you can get involved.

By helping at social events: Setting up, making teas and coffees, sandwiches and cakes. Helping to clear up. Selling raffle tickets.   Perhaps running a stall at the Bazaar or helping in Pickwicks Pantry (cafe).

By serving on the Environment Committee:  Getting involved in local issues such as Parking, Transport, Planning and Environmental issues. The committee meets once a month.

Westcombe News delivery: We are always looking for new volunteers for our monthly deliveries. An average sized round takes between 20mins and half an hour 10 times a year. You could be a stand-by deliverer for when a regular volunteer is on holiday.

Administration of the Society: If you would prefer a behind the scenes role there are many different ways in which you could help.

If you would like to find out a little more about how you can help we would be delighted to hear from you.  If possible please contact us by email, alternatively phone numbers can be found in the Westcombe News.
