The Royal Borough of Greenwich are currently consulting on their Draft Cycle Strategy.   This will hopefully bring many improvements for cycling in the borough for years to come.   Use this link to give your views before the consultation closes on Friday 10th January.  If you miss the consultation deadline the contact at the council is Mark Reynolds on Mark.Reynolds@royalgreenwich.gov.uk and the documents are as follows:

Royal Borough of Greenwich Draft Cycling Strategy November 2013

Royal Borough of Greenwich Draft Cycling Strategy Appendix A Action Plan

Royal Borough of Greenwich Draft Cycling Strategy Appendix B Targets

Royal Borough of Greenwich Draft Cycling Strategy Appendix C Evidence Base

There are also proposals for a new cycle lane to help cyclists avoid having to cycle round the one way system at Blackheath when cycling from Vanbrugh Park to the Old Dover Road.  We will post more details of these when the proposals are ready for public consultation.
