Update: We have now heard that the Royal Borough of Greenwich has REFUSED this application.  There were many objections.  The applicant may appeal, if they do all who commented will be informed.

Three have applied to install a mobile phone mast at the junction of Hardy Road and Beaconsfield Road.  The mast is 18m high, three times the height of a lamp post and significantly higher than surrounding houses and any of the trees in Ingleside Gardens.

Neighbours and the Westcombe Society are very concerned about the effect this will have on the Conservation Area.

More details are available on the Royal Borough of Greenwich Planning Website where comments can be made.  The deadline is Friday 14 August.
