Blackheath Westcombe ward had a strong turnout in the May 22nd local and EU elections: 47.7%, the second highest in the borough. Your votes brought us three councillors. Geoff Brighty (Con), the only sitting councillor among the candidates, was re-elected, and two new councillors, Cherry Parker (Lab) and Paul Morrissey (Lab) join him. All three will work hard together for the area. And our thanks go to the two retiring councillors for the ward, Alex Grant and Alex Wilson, for their dedicated service over the years.
You can read a detailed breakdown of the vote and the Royal Borough of Greenwich website also has the full results for the area.
Results for the EU election are forthcoming, as they are being counted separately.
