Leafy residential oasis
Westcombe Park is a quiet and leafy residential oasis nestled between Blackheath and Greenwich Park. It benefits from the light and space of the heath together with the history and splendour of maritime Greenwich.
We are served by an excellent array of businesses, coffee shops and restaurants at Blackheath Royal Standard and surrounding Westcombe Park Station. We are proud that these include a number of independents and a branch of Greenwich Library, while the shops and restaurants of Blackheath Village and Greenwich are in easy reach,
Superb transport links and quality schools
Transport links are superb as we have two mainline stations, Westcombe Park and Maze Hill, which offer a fast and frequent service to Central London and Kent. Numerous buses also serve our area, with some running 24 hours, which link Westcombe Park residents to London Underground’s Jubilee line at North Greenwich and the DLR at the Cutty Sark as well as Central and South East London.
The area also boasts a number of highly sought after state and private schools, several being highly rated by OFSTED.
Strong community
Unusually for London, Westcombe Park is an area where you get a strong sense of community. This is nurtured by the Westcombe Society and the many events it holds for local residents in Westcombe Park’s community centre, Mycenae House, and its extensive garden, Mycenae Gardens. The Westcombe Society also produces an award-winning (and free) community paper, Westcombe News, produced and delivered by devoted volunteers.
Westcombe Park has something to offer everyone – a calm and environmentally conscientious community which is well connected to the city. The area provides convenient amenities for those with a busy schedule in addition to excellent schools, clubs, classes and voluntary opportunities.
No wonder so many local residents will tell you that once you move to Westcombe Park you’ll never want to leave!
