Greenwich Neighbourhood Growth Fund

Earlier this year we highlighted the first round of the fund which provides money for local projects financed by a levy on large-scale developments in the area.  Proposals were invited and two from our area were successful.  These were;

*   Equipment upgrade at Blackheath Westcombe Autism support project, Montessori Education for Autism (£6,123)

*   Reach Out ‘Digital Inclusion’ Project at Mycenae House, Vanbrugh Community Association (£20,330).

A second round of applications will open on Monday 17th September and proposals for over £5,000 are invited. Guidance will be available on the Royal Borough of Greenwich website. So, if you have any ideas about how Blackheath/Westcombe, Penisula or Greenwich wards could be improved please consider making an application.
