The West and East Greenwich LTN has been in place since 27 November. Starting on 2 January, all vehicles except buses, cycles and authorised vehicles have been fined if they cross the railway line on Westcombe Hill, Halstow Road, Vanbrugh Hill or Maze Hill between the hours of 7 – 10am and 3 – 7pm Monday to Friday. This also affects St John’s Park and a number of roads in West Greenwich.
The restrictions don’t apply to blue badge holders but we understand that Blue Badge holders need to register for exemption along with others who might be eligible. More information about how to apply for an exemption permit can be found on http://royalgreenwich.gov.uk/traffic-management-scheme.

This is a trial of the LTN in that it will be in place for up to 18 months after which it will either be made permanent, changed or removed.
Residents will be able to comment on the trial at royalgreenwich.gov.uk/greener-safer-greenwich for six months starting on November 27 2024.
